ABOUT PADUCAH ALUMNAE CHAPTER

Paducah Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is a non-profit organization committed to service in the community.  This chapter was chartered on May 23, 1970.  Pictured below are the charter members with those sitting as the first initiates.1970 was an impactful year for the state of Kentucky for new chapters.  2020 marked the celebration of our "Golden Anniversary" with 50 years of service to our community and region through our 5-Point Programmatic Thrust: Educational Development; Economic Development; International Awareness and Involvement; and Physical and Mental Health. We are truly living our lives like they are "golden" as we give back in a substantive manner to our community.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Paducah Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 1970, we’re a chapter driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.

Community Activities

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s Paducah Alumnae Chapter is making greater progress than ever with its projects. To better the lives of people, we work on a variety of great initiatives, and we take great pride in the advancements we keep making. Get more about the things we do, the people we assist, and the daily efforts we make to foster change.

We strive hard to come up with innovative solutions to this issue while keeping in mind the long-term objectives of our organization. One way we give back to our community is by providing support to charitable organizations that distribute food. We fill food banks throughout our city every year through our involvement in Christmas in the Park. We are Community Kitchen supporters as well. We're here to help when needed occurs.
